Chapter 26: Author Note

Aaah, she’s awake! And she’s okay! What a relief, huh?

Somehow, I’m getting really fast with getting chapters done. I dunno if I’m just really into the story or if I love the thrill of updating – I’m not sure but I’ve updated so much recently;L

So, the song is Broken by Seether and Amy lee (Amy from Evanescence?). I just think this song is beautiful, to be honest, and it fit pretty well so why the hell not? Amy’s voice is just amazing, don’t you think? Talk about talent…

So, very short author note for a very drama-filled chapter so let’s actually go into greater detail about the chapter for a change. You’ll find out more about the death of Edward’s mother in the next chapter. It wasn’t planned – I genuinely didn’t know how Edward’s mom died. Summer’s dad had an amazing drama-filled horrific death and then it was just ‘My mom died of lung cancer’ and it didn’t really match. I felt like both of them needed to have significant deaths so I had the idea that Edward was actually lying. Why would he do that? Because he feels he’s involved for not telling the police about what actually happened. I haven’t actually decided how he killed her yet but maybe it should be something that could match with lung cancer so the police don’t get suspicious. It’d be a bit crazy if Edward’s dad shot her and the police believed that she died of lung cancer
